Marketing Project Coordinator

Full-time, 40 hours per week position available, with flexible work hours.

Description of duties: The successful candidate will coordinate marketing and organizational projects for internal clients; collaborate with internal clients to control costs and maximize campaign quality, effectiveness, and results. The individual will work with Marketing Project Managers to define and execute integrated channel marketing campaigns, assisting in concept, content, impact, editing, production, scheduling, tracking, and reporting of results. Experience with project management, copywriting, editing, electronic marketing, and marketing metrics. Ability to learn HTML/web content management systems and email marketing software systems. This person will report to the Manager, Product Marketing.

 

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • BA in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field, or equivalent.
  • One or more years of experience in a marketing, program management or project management role preferred.

Compensation and Benefits package includes: 

  • Competitive wages, annual discretionary bonus. Pay Range $25.34 to $36.73 per hour.
  • Medical, dental & vision benefits provided (100% employer paid premium for the employee, 75% employer paid premium for the dependents).
  • Defined retirement contribution:  SPIE provides an automatic 5% contribution PLUS SPIE offers UP to 5% matching contributions and 25% vesting each year, 100% vested after 4 years.
  • Paid Time Off plan beginning at 31 days per year.

Location: Physical work location in Bellingham, WA. Occasional telecommuting may be available for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.  The employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
