Summary:

The Meta Product Technical Program Management (TPM) community is pioneering technologies to bring people (and businesses) closer together at a global scale. Product TPMs work at the cross-section between technical execution and business strategy and are expected to partner closely with Engineering and Product teams. Being a TPM at Meta means driving impact by delivering measurable results across a wide range of areas. You'll be responsible for defining and guiding high-level goals and roadmaps, monitoring and communicating progress, and defining functional requirements for new products and features. It also means having a strong technical background, understanding system architecture, and the experience to effectively collaborate across functions and organizations to deliver impact.As a Technical Program Manager for the Creators team, you will lead strategy and execution to coordinate shared investment across the entire Creators ecosystem to develop frameworks and provide foundations to support the portfolio of Facebook Creator Products. Creators are at the core of what makes Facebook vibrant & culturally relevant. Facebook's Creator Monetization org's mission is to help Creators make a sustainable living so that they can keep doing what they do best – create content and build community. We drive value to the Facebook app by driving incremental content production that drives user value and powers the discovery engine. With an industry-leading portfolio including Ads on Reels, Instream Ads, Bonuses, Stars, and Subscriptions, this team is set to revolutionize the creator landscape.We are looking for a leader who is a great communicator and collaborator to drive alignment and cross-functional execution across the organization. The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, solid technical depth, and demonstrated experience leading large projects across multiple software teams with strong dependencies on hardware teams. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities, and lead without authority. You are not only able to drive execution, but also develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, besides being hands on to get the job done.

Required Skills:

Technical Program Manager, Creators Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage end-to-end technical product solutions and ensure on-time delivery.

  2. Manage and own cross-functional products and programs execution in a matrix organization.

  3. Drive and influence technical and product strategy, proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies, align on priorities, and set direction for a broadly cross-functional area.

  4. Help define the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams that you are working with.

  5. Design measurements to track impact and drive internal process improvements.

  6. Articulate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones of your team.

  7. Collaboratively define the vision for building Meta-scale, state-of-the-art, global products.

  8. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans to ensure on-time delivery, provide day-to-day coordination, and quality assurance for tasks.

  9. Move fast in a flat organization by working in concert with technical program managers, product managers and engineers across Meta to establish a shared vision for improving execution and building solutions.

  10. Ongoing communication of planning, project status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders.

  11. Help drive product decisions to align with higher company initiative.

  12. Establish shared goals with product teams across the company to build alignment across multiple cross-functional teams and to build and scale products for Meta.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

  2. 10+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.

  3. Experience driving and delivering complex tech programs or products from inception to delivery.

  4. Experience defining strategic direction and identifying new opportunities for impact amongst products, platforms and programs.

  5. Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.

  6. Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and functions, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.

  7. Communication experience at executive level and experience influencing senior leadership and technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.

  8. Organizational, coordination and multi-tasking experience.

  9. Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.

  10. Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.

  11. Experience working with product teams to build and deliver end-to-end customer focused products with technical knowledge of the underlying platforms and technologies.

Public Compensation:

$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
