Description
Are you passionate about transforming how Amazon designs, builds, and manages its global real estate portfolio through innovative technology solutions? Global Realty Tech (GRT) is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to develop and implement scalable solutions that transform how our Tech org delivers, measures, and improves initiatives. You’ll collaborate with product managers, software and design engineers to implement data-driven frameworks and systems that elevate team performance and accelerate delivery across Amazon’s rapidly expanding global real estate technology portfolio.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager within GRT, you'll shape how our technology teams operate, measure success, and drive continuous improvement. You'll build the foundations that enable our teams to scale effectively while maintaining high quality and operational excellence. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on implementation to create lasting impact across our global technology organization.
Key job responsibilities
Mechanism Development & Scaling
Create and implement comprehensive program management systems, mechanisms and quality controls that scale across GRT
Develop and maintain scalable frameworks
Metrics & Performance
Partner with technical and business leaders to ensure framework adoption and effectiveness
Build and maintain impact measurement frameworks with clear KPI’s, metrics, and goals
Tool Implementation & Strategy
Create and execute adoption strategies for new tools and processes
Deliver clear implementation roadmaps with measurable success metrics
Stakeholder Management
Lead stakeholder engagement across product, engineering, and business teams
Develop communication strategies for organizational change initiatives

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
Experience working directly with engineering teams
Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
