AFT is seeking a product manager to help us define high visibility/ impact products for configuration services, at the heart of Amazon's operations. In this role, you will work across business and technical organizations to break down complex business requirements into manageable products to solve complex technical problems, balance business needs versus technical constraints, and ultimately drive successful product execution in a timely and agile manner. You will have end-to-end ownership of long-term product vision and feature definition.

In this role, you will partner with strong technical managers to drive the long-term vision through development of vision documents, definition of business requirements, launch and post-launch measurement. You will also serve as a key player with partner teams across the company, working to align interests and implement scalable solutions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities

• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology options and strategy related to a product

• Experience managing technical products or online services

• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Platform Engineering and Services

AFT’s Platform Engineering & Services team leverages data, process improvement, and innovative technologies to provide comprehensive engineering excellence services/solutions across AFT’s product portfolios.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

• Experience managing technical products or online services

• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
