Amazon Sales Operations Specialist, CRM, Global Logistics in Bellevue, Washington

We are looking for an experienced Sales Operations Specialist to oversee Salesforce/CRM administrative functions and architecture for our sales teams in the US & EMEA regions. The primary focus of the Sales Operations Specialist is to boost our sales team's productivity through streamlined CRM design and feature launches.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and Pardot Email Automations, including support requests and escalated administrative needs of users by providing complete resolution to technical challenges and business support issues.

  • Configure all new and existing Salesforce.com features, including user management, roles/profiles, Permission Sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations, workflows rules, Flows, Lightning Pages, Custom Metadata Types, Custom Settings, and Managed Packages.

  • Focus on user efficiencies, solving business/customer issues, inventing creative solutions, and ensuring data accuracy across Salesforce.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to proactively identify, drive, and build improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that solve business needs. Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architected solutions that best utilize the Salesforce platform and products.

  • Understand customer, internal marketing, and account management teams' needs and translate them into robust business requirements for configuration and development in Salesforce CRM.

  • Support cross-system integrations across the native Salesforce ecosystem and other cloud technologies, including AWS.

  • Participate in the change management process. Drive communication efforts across relevant stakeholders.

  • Develop trainings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various user roles to enrich user knowledge and skills and enforce best practices.

A day in the life

In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, cross-functional groups, and Selling Partners to improve sales performance for a rapidly growing team and product line. Your aim will be to meet and surpass high organizational standards effectively. You will work on optimizing Salesforce configurations, implementing new features, and ensuring seamless integrations with other systems. Additionally, you will gather business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and drive the adoption of best practices through training and documentation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

  • 3+ years of Salesforce Admin experience

  • 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.

  • 3+ years of experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Sales/Service/Marketing/Account Engagement Clouds, Salesforce Communities, and API integrations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

  • Experience in finance, business management and sales operations

  • Salesforce Advanced Admin Certification

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification

  • Experience writing technical documents, project plans and progress reports to leadership and to stakeholders

  • Working knowledge of SQL and ETL jobs

  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce CRM application architecture.

  • Verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
