Research Scientist Responsibilities:

1. Develop highly scalable classifiers and tools leveraging machine learning, regression, and rules-based models.

2. Suggest, collect and synthesize requirements and create effective feature roadmap.

3. Code deliverables in tandem with the engineering team.

4. Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments including distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU.

5. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Sciences, Physics, or a related field. Foreign equivalent accepted. Requires completion of a graduate-level course, research project, or internship involving the following skills:

7. Solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches

8. Gathering, manipulating, or analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources

9. Communicating complex research in a clear, precise, and actionable manner

10. Research in topics closely related to machine learning, NLP, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, signal processing, data mining, artificial intelligence, information retrieval, orcomputer vision

11. Performing research that enables learning the semantics of data (images, video, text, audio, or other modalities) and advances the technology of intelligent machines

12. Devising better data-driven models of human behavior

13. Adapting standard machine learning methods to best enterprise modern parallel environments: distributed clusters, multicore SMP, or GPU

14. Developing highly scalable classifiers and tools leveraging machine learning, statistics, regression, rules-based models, or mathematical models
