Position summary

T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. The Product Owners is located in Bellevue, WA will plan, initiate, and manage IT projects and serve as liaison between business and external elements for IT projects.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain Agile team backlog in alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Write user stories and requirements that include acceptance criteria and tests.
  • Review and prioritize Agile Team backlog for Iteration Planning.
  • Review and understand enabler work, and collaborate with System and Solution Architects and Engineers to facilitate decision-making and sequencing of technical infrastructures.
  • Serve as primary resource for Technical and Customer teams for user story details.
  • Participate in team demo and review and accept completed user stories.
  • Lead continuous improvement processes and participate in training activities.
  • Work with Product Management team to produce PI system demo for program stakeholders and ensure user stories fall within PO scope.
  • Hold weekly PO/ART sync meetings with Product Owners.
  • Work with Agile teams to define and implement improvement stories to increase velocity and quality of programs.
  • Own user story quality and performance in production environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, commercial accounting, marketing, legal, go-to-market, and finance.

     

Skill requirements:

Must have some professional experience in each of the following:

  • Conducting Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) using advanced Excel and Microsoft SQL Server to generate data-driven recommendations and enhance product performance.
  • Using PowerBI and JIRA Dashboard to reflect data insights and business projections.
  • Working with data structures and algorithms to extract data and using MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server to troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Performing Cloud Based Implementations using Azure Active Directory, SQL Azure, Data Lakes, Storage Accounts, and Azure Devops.
  • Technical writing and building data modeling requirements using Confluence. 
  • Using JIRA, Kanban, and Trello to manage data flow and engineering, and Leading Agile product development. 

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology,  Business Analytics, Project Management or related, and 1 year of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Technology,  Business Analytics, Project Management or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.
