Amazon Principal Tech Program Manager, Device Software & Services in Bellevue, Washington
Description
The Device Software and Services team is seeking to hire a Principal, Technical Program Manager, to lead and drive complex, cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives. The role requires a combination of technical leadership and hands-on execution to solve large-scale, high-impact problems. The successful candidate is a force multiplier and influence without authority effectively.
Key job responsibilities
Lead multiple initiatives in various stages of development across different Devices organizations.
Evangelize vision and strategy, and drive customer focused, high impact roadmap delivery.
Make timely, data-driven decisions to prioritize and solve problems.
Build effective relationships up, down, and across organizations.
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly orally and in written form to influence different audiences and levels within and across organizations.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of engineering experience
7+ years of technical product or program management experience
5+ years of software development experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
