Insight Global Enterprise Architecture Specialist in Bellevue, Washington

Job Description

An employer is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Specialist to assist with governing and consolidating architectural diagrams throughout the organization. We are seeking an organized and technically adept professional to join our Enterprise Architecture team. The primary responsibility of this role is to federate architectural diagrams from various IT Domain and Platform teams, centralizing them within BizzDesign or another platform, and ensuring they're updated and in the correct formats. This position does not involve designing architectural solutions but requires a solid understanding of architecture concepts and strong project management skills to coordinate cross-team efforts. This role is critical to solving the challenge of disparate and inconsistent documentation across the company. You will play a key role in creating a single source of truth for our enterprise architecture, bridging the gap between domain teams and enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with IT Domain and Platform teams to locate and collect their latest architectural diagrams, such as ACDs, reference architectures, or detailed models.

Evaluate and consolidate architectural diagrams from various tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) into a centralized repository within BizzDesign or other designated locations.

Work closely with domain teams to understand the types of architectural diagrams, their purposes, and how they align with solutions.

Engage with teams across billing, frontline, retail, SAP platforms, etc. to identify documentation gaps and ensure up-to-date diagrams are captured.

Articulate the value of centralizing architectural artifacts to technical teams and leadership, driving buy-in and participation.

Coordinate efforts across multiple teams, demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills to solve problems and meet objectives.

Potentially create or remake architectural diagrams as required to ensure consistency and alignment with company standards.

Support the development of a scalable repository structure, ensuring efficient storage, access, and updates of architectural diagrams.
