At  Microsoft M365 Language Intelligence team in  Microsoft Development Center Serbia , we are envisioning, planning, and delivering the next generation of productivity experiences, enabling users to express their throughs, creativity, and messages more easily and effectively across M365 apps and experiences. Our primary focus is to bring Writing Assistance and Language Intelligence with contextual search of people, files, topics, and other entities right into the typing loop of user’s favorite M365 applications, such as Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Context IQ project).

We're seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager with a growth mindset, strong integrity, collaboration skills, and leadership. Responsibilities

  • Vision, strategy, and plan for key Word AI programs that drive the next generation of Microsoft 365 experiences.

  • Backlog, dependencies, and requirements. In collaboration with product management and engineering, defining quantifiable and ambitious quarterly/annual Objective and Key Results in partnership with engineering and product leadership.Maintaining prioritized backlog and driving accountability and delivery.

  • Roadmap and delivery. Driving overall program roadmap, schedule, release, and adjustments. Motivate people and inspire a highly functional team to achieve defined key results.

  • Alignment across teams, organizations, and roles. Working with immediate team, stakeholders, executive sponsors, and partners across organizations, groups, roles, and geographies to align shared goals and OKRs.

  • Technical leadership. Drive the team forward by making tough technical decisions that are respected across the organization by considering all options, tradeoffs, risk, and uncertainty with anticipated outcomes or key results. Act as a technical advisor to educate and evangelize investments with customers by participating and/or driving internal and external customer engagements.

  • Rhythm of Business and reporting process. Consolidate, contribute, and review all relevant data views and updates for the various reporting forums (updates, deep dives, business, and service reviews).Represent the team in regular operation meetings and various reporting forums. 

  • TPM role. Work with organization stakeholders and TPM community to establish and grow TPM roles and responsibilities.

  • Mentoring. Work closely with the team to share and mentor, and also learn and be mentored.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the software industry and technical program management or in related / similar roles.

  • Experience in driving multi-year complex programs.

  • Experience across the product cycle, from initial design to execution and release process, to post-release support and iterations.

  • Strong project, stakeholder, and partner management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or experience in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, or related technical discipline. 

  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including articulating complex issues and solutions. 

  • Innate curiosity and the ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fluid environment.
