Emerson Key Account Manager for North Region in Beijing, China

Job Summary:

Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Key Account Manager who is in charge of identified critical accounts and drive profitable growth by promoting internal and external collaborations. The objective is to position Emerson Process and all Platforms as the SOFC-Supplier of First Choice at the Site. This roll will Lead the Business-to-Business alignment of the Customer Management Team and the Emerson Management Teams to drive the Key Strategic Initiatives or Programs of the Site Management Team and position Emerson as the enabler of more efficient and effective business results through the collaboration with Emerson.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Customer Engagement Owns the development of wide and deep relationships top to bottom at the Site and broadly across all strategic functions at the Site with high focus on Operations, Reliability and Maintenance as well as authorizers and influencers such that these people feel privileged to meet with you and other Emerson employees. They are to build strong advocates in the customer organization who can be called upon to acquire an understanding of strategic imperative and challenges impacting the site.

  • Client Partner and Primary Demand Creation Identify customer pains from customer daily operations, reliabilities, energy management, HSSE, equipment maintenance and so on, crafting primary demand and working closely with the Delivery and Consulting Partners in Triad formation to tackle customer’s business challenges with our Wireless and/or Perceptive Technologies; driving pervasive sensing solutions and PT technologies growth at sites. Present Emerson Process as problem solver and customer partner.

  • Strategic Site Plan Owns the creation, and ongoing evergreen status of Critical Site Plan with clear set goals and targets. Drive account business growth.

  • Propel Internal Collaboration KA will use their knowledge of the site and site engagement to identify potential opportunities for under-penetrated BUs. They will collaborate with BUs to explore areas of alignment or driven displacement opportunities, and improve BU collaborative alignment at the site.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering Field, Chemical Engineering or Automation Engineering preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience preferably in the process industries with sound knowledge of related industry.

  • Experiences in sales/account management at least 5 years.

  • Good understanding of domestic business culture.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and planning / priority leadership skills. Strong discernment.

  • Mature personality and innovative.

  • Occupational Health and safety competence.
