WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a Brand Narrative Expert at Nike, we want you to create the voice that expresses the heart and soul of the Nike Football brand, using athletes, products, and services to inspire our consumers. We are looking for an innovative storyteller. We want someone who will drive and champion creative strategy, creative concepts, and storytelling across the globe aligned to the strategic brand direction provided by the Nike Football Brand Marketing team. WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Contribute to long-term and seasonal creative concepts in partnership with studio teammates and brand partners while delivering outstanding storytelling, from narrative positioning, social content frameworks, and product marketing concepts to supervising in-depth features, campaign content, and scriptwriting.

  • Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing creative storytelling across all our channels.

  • Collaborating with the team around you to translate brand briefs and marketing plans into sharp creative strategies and into emotive and innovative stories.

  • Contribute to storytelling and coordinate writing for assigned projects, ensuring our content meet and exceeds the highest standards: always on-brand, culturally aware, sport-authentic, insightful, and engaging.

  • Partner across teams such as editorial, art direction, styling, photography, production, post-production, merchandising, and marketing—throughout the creative process.

  • Ensure all projects are well-planned, creatively outstanding, and delivered timely and within budget.

  • Keep up to date with emerging trends in sports, design, culture, media, and technology as relevant to Nike.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Minimum of 8 years’ of experience in editorial, strategy, content marketing, and/or brand marketing.

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

  • Stellar portfolio of brand storytelling displaying critical thinking, a distinctive voice, authoritative command of style and tone, and an outstanding eye for detail.

  • Understanding of writing, strategizing, and concepting within a brand organization, and how to translate business priorities into highly engaging consumer-facing content.

  • Depth of experience crafting across social, digital, OOH & film, with an expert understanding of platform content creation.

  • Tried and true experience leading creative productions; from pre-production to on-set leadership and post-production.

  • Skilled in innovative storytelling across multiple platforms and for different audiences.

  • Experience with leading agencies and internal partners as well as the ability to carefully plan and effectively handle your schedule

  • Significant knowledge of consumer behavior throughout the globe.

  • Ability to travel 15-20% as needed.
