Robert Half Treasury Analyst II (Cash) in Bayport, Minnesota

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Treasury Analyst/Assistant Treasurer in the Manufacturing industry. Our team is based in the Saint Paul area of Minnesota. The role involves overseeing all stock-related requests, cash management duties, and monitoring cash operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all stock-related requests including shareholder inquiries, stock sales, dividend processing, year-end tax reporting, and stock recordkeeping

• Execute cash management duties such as payments, cash positioning, borrowing/investing, and journal entries

• Monitor cash operations and treasury shareholder services inboxes

• Process any electronic payments and check-related requests within the appropriate online banking and general ledger system

• Review daily bank account activity and process recommended transfers

• Prepare and post journal entries

• Administer user access within the bank systems, implementation of new services, and assist with updating bank signors

• Support cross-functional projects and enterprise initiatives.

Skills:

• Proficient in Management System and Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Cash Activity

• Experience in Check Processing and Credit

• Knowledge in Cash Applications.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas

• Familiarity with accounting functions and principles

• Demonstrated experience in cash activity management and check processing

• Knowledge of credit processes and cash applications

• Ability to operate and manage systems related to treasury tasks

• Strong analytical skills to assess financial data and make sound decisions

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with various departments within the company

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
