Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Seeking a Technical Operator responsible for the smooth operation of High Temperature Vacuum CVD Reactors. Your duties will include following established safety practices, assisting in the development of new operating instructions, preparing reactors and products, working with hazardous chemicals, monitoring processes and recording data, defining and developing operating parameters, participating in improvement projects, housekeeping, operating lift trucks, and performing general maintenance on equipment.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bay City, Michigan.

Work Environment

The work environment offers flexible shift hours, including 1st shift from 6am to 2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am. Pay rate ranges from $18 to $28 per hour, based on experience, with a $1.25 premium for the 2nd shift and a $3.25 premium for the 3rd shift. Currently, there is plenty of overtime available, but it is voluntary, not mandatory. You will be working in a large production shop employing over 160 machinists and engineers in the automotive and aerospace manufacturing industry.
