At Ethics Administration, we strive to achieve compliance by governmental officials, public employees, candidates, and lobbyists, and provide access to disclosed information.
The mission of the Ethics Administration Program is to provide staff support for the Louisiana Board of Ethics, which administers and enforces Louisiana's conflicts of interest legislation, campaign finance disclosure requirements, lobbyist registration, and disclosure laws. Further, the Board of Ethics ensures compliance by governmental officials, public employees, candidates, and lobbyists and to provide public access to disclosed information.
This position will serve as the Administrative Coordinator 3 or Administrative Coordinator 4 for Ethics Administration Division.

This position may be filled by job appointment, probational appointment (probation in lieu of promotion), detail to special duty, or non-competitive reemployment.
The selected candidate may be required to serve a probational appointment of up to two years.

Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years of experience in which clerical work was a major duty.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
Training in a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for the required experience on the basis of six months of training for six months of experience for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
Completion of a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
College training will substitute for the required experience on the basis of 15 semester hours for six months of experience.
NOTE:
Business or technical school training with less than completion will only be credited in six month increments. Similarly, college training will only be credited in 15 semester hour increments.
NOTE: Any college hours or degree must be from an accredited college or university.
Examples of Work
Collects, dates, logs, sorts & distributes docketing/agenda material to the appropriate attorney
promptly in connection with monthly agency preparation.
Process acknowledgment letters and appearance letters and prepare and maintain agenda files.
Schedules appearances for monthly Board meetings.
Serves as liaison for training attorney & training/development specialist to schedule training
opportunities.
Process pre-registrations for attendees at training sessions and maintain training calendar for
attorneys.
Attends monthly Board meetings and assists with drafting minutes.
Serves in rotation pool for receptionist duties.
