Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated general production workers to join our team. Candidates will be involved in various areas including Bag Making, Lamination, Logistics, or Printing. Tasks may include washing parts, packing, assisting machine operators, or handling materials. Flexibility and willingness to assist in other areas are essential. A good attitude and consistent attendance are crucial for success in this role. This company specializes in producing labels for protein and pet food companies.

Responsibilities

• Pack products and prepare them for shipping

• Assist machine operators with daily tasks

• Handle materials and manage logistics

• Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed

• Quality checks to ensure product is usable

• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, or assembly (1-2 years)

• Forklift operation experience

• Machine operating experience

• Ability to pack and handle materials efficiently

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Commitment to good attendance

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in packaging

• General production knowledge

• Flexibility to assist in various production areas

Work Environment

Shifts are as follows: 1st Shift - 6 AM to 2:30 PM, 2nd Shift - 2 PM to 10:30 PM, 3rd Shift - 10 PM to 6:30 AM. Candidates will initially train on the 1st shift for a duration of 2 weeks to a month. The work environment is climate-controlled, ensuring comfort throughout your shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bardstown, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
