The Business Systems Analyst will fulfill a critical role both optimizing our analysis and solutioning of Salesforce challenges. The Business Systems Analyst will partner with both the Plan Team as well as the Build Leader in analyzing and coordinating a high volume of enhancement and maintenance requests related to Salesforce functional areas.
Imbedded in the Build Team workstream for SFDC, this individual will groom requests, validate requirement completeness and accuracy, prepare preliminary estimates, promote approved requests to backlog, and perform preliminary scheduling.
We are looking for someone that is a self-starter with the right mix of Salesforce Business Systems Analysis and business process understanding that can roll up their sleeves and hit the ground running. Ideally, this candidate will have prior experience in a global technology company enabling Salesforce continuous improvement.
Job Description
Serve as the gateway to the Salesforce build team collaborating with business stakeholders to understand customer journeys, elicit business requirements, and identify opportunities for business process improvements
Work with business stakeholders to refine user stories, breaking down high level information into detailed requirements with clear success criteria that translate into technical designs enabling development
Drive approval process for groomed enhancement requests, ensuring adequate problem/opportunity identification, completeness of requirements, and solution feasibility
Continuously collaborate with Solution Architects and Developers to design enhancement solutions that support business requirements and customer journey alignment
Develop and maintain technical specifications and end user training materials
Coordinate and support software enhancement testing and support quality assurance activities as needed
Analyze and troubleshoot tier three functionality issues, identifying root causes and escalating remediation
Work with the security and compliance team to ensure applications and enhancements are compliant and secure, adhering to established processes/procedures
Assure continuous application service delivery success by maintaining a deep understanding of application design architecture, capacities, and application/integration performance
Qualifications
Salesforce Business Systems Analyst experience including enhancement roadmap management and larger Salesforce transformation projects
Ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise in L2O, CPQ, CPQ Billing with technology and development best practices in a global SaaS or Consumption based technology company
Deep knowledge of Salesforce Lead to Cash functionality, business systems analysis, SDLC, and related processes
Demonstrated ability to understand complex business processes and customer journey aspirations, breaking opportunities and problems down into deliverable enhancements and improvements
Experience in an agile environment, grooming and estimating stories utilizing Jira
High level of organization and attention to detail emphasizing process, completeness and accuracy
Ability to collaborate and coordinate with others to achieve measurable outcomes
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications to the audience with the required cadence to ensure alignment
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration or Information Systems, Salesforce Business Systems Analyst certification required
