CPGMDI, Inc. doing business as Project Social at 278 Main St, Bar Harbor, ME 04609 has 9 openings for Kitchen Staff. Duties include, but are not limited to, preparing foods and kitchen for the day, including chopping, cutting, pulling food from walk-ins, starting equipment, etc., preparing and cooking foods/meals (in advance and to order) according to recipes, serving prepared meals to waitstaff, cleaning work areas, floors, equipment, utensils, dishes, mats, etc. (and occasional and end-of-season deep cleaning), closing kitchen at the end of the night by cleaning, taking care of food and waste, taking garbage out, and shutting off all equipment. Hours/work schedule: 40+ hours per week, Monday-Sunday (1-2 days off, varies), multiple shifts available from as early as 7:00 a.m. to as late as 11:59PM. \$19.00-\$22.00 per hour, overtime possible at \$28.50-\$33.00 per hour; temporary full-time (04/01/2025-10/31/2025). No minimum education required; two months of commercial kitchen experience required and must be able to lift 50 pounds; on-the-job training provided; performance-based bonus and/or raise possible. Optional employer-provided housing at \$175 per week deducted from bi-weekly pay and \$25 per week rebate if worker completes the entire employment period. \$150 security deposit deducted once from bi-weekly pay if employee opts into employer-provided housing. Paid bi-weekly using a single workweek as the standard for computing wages due. Standard payroll deductions as required by law.

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if worker completes half the employment period; the amount for daily subsistence will be at least \$16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of \$68.00 per day with receipts; return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Reimbursement within one week after the start of work of visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. The employer will provide workers, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
