Identify new sales prospects within India working directly with end-user prospects and clients and liaising with relevant vendors and partners. A senior sales professional focused on driving new logo business that will make up the majority of the candidates business. A select number of existing B end customer accounts may be allocated to upsell and cross-sell incremental European elements of the Optiv portfolio.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Own and coordinate all aspects of the sales cycle within your assigned accounts. Lead a cross-functional team to build and execute a multi-year strategic account management plan for your top accounts Build a strong pipeline of opportunities with a focus onnew accounts in the region.

  • Build strong, collaborative and productive relationships with technology partners and their respective sales personnel to both gain and share leads in support of building qualified pipeline and maximizing mutually beneficial sales opportunities.

  • You'll identify and understand our client's core security concerns and how they correlate to Optiv solutions that mitigate these cybersecurity risks

  • Effectively communicate Optiv’s value proposition as it relates technologies expertise and capabilities

  • Understand relevant vertical sector challenges, trends and opportunities and be able to fluently communicate to C-level executives to understand their focus and strategy.

  • Develop deep understanding of product capabilities and value proposition in the Cyber Security Solutions, Consulting and Managed Services sector.

  • Meet and exceed both short-term margin goals as well as build consistent long-term margin potential through pipeline generation

  • Attend industry forums, trade shows, and events as required.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in product or services based sales typically gained over 8 years, ideally in a technology company.

  • Proven ability to build and execute territory and account prospecting and expansion plans with a track record of exceeding assigned quotas.

  • Experience engaging cross-functional resources such as sales, pre-sales technical support, and other support personnel in an effective fashion.

  • Demonstrated ability to build productive business relationships with key executives and sponsors within assigned accounts.

  • Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Negotiation experience

  • History of demonstrated achievement exceeding plan and expectations.

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience selling complex solutions at senior management and executive levels within the UK market

  • Worked for a security services provider. Managed services and consulting services as well as integrated solutions.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

  • Strong, successful, proven background in selling security solutions to Enterprise customers

  • An established network of contacts at major enterprise accounts in the region

  • Strong selling skills into major accounts, with an understanding of large business organizations and their buying cycles, with the ability to match to the selling process

  • Must be a proven hunter, self-starter and strong closer with a demonstrable track record of success

  • Experience and accuracy of working with sales forecasting and CRM tools – SFDC.

  • Great collaboration and team skills are needed to develop trusted relationships internally, as well as externally with Customers and Partners.

  • Excellent communications skills ranging from persuasive skills on a one to one basis to presentation skills to groups.

  • Position requires day-to-day and overnight travel. Overseas travel when required.
