Job Summary

Define the system architecture of a product according to the relevant requirements. Define / identify requirements resulting from the architecture and from platform and integration needs. Define / identify rules and concepts for implementing the architecture. Confirm that the implementation fits to the architecture.

Job Description:

• Support requirements engineering by reviewing interfaces and architecture

• Identify and allocate system and stakeholder requirements to the Architecture

• Clarify feasibility by comparing customer expectations with generic architectures

• Establish consistency and bilateral traceability between system requirements and system architectural design

• Create a system architectural design that identifies the elements of the system

• Create dynamic system architecture (Identification and tracking of critical timing aspects on system level)

• Definition of interfaces of each system architecture element and system environment

• Decomposition of system requirements via architecture to discipline architectures (ME, EE, SW)

• Assure maximum re-use of system architecture elements and evaluation of alternative system architecture

• Provide support in the definition of the system integration strategy

• Development of verification criteria to demonstrate that requirements defined by the architecture can be verified within agreed constraints

• Collaborate with other discipline architects to document interfaces and dependencies

• Work closely with the Functional Safety Manager and Product Cybersecurity and Privacy to ensure the accomplishment of project safety analysis

• Support with planning and scheduling of process activities

• Ensure that the system architectural design is agreed and communicated to all affected parties

Experience and Back ground

• Working experience in Automotive OEM or Component companies

• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Sceince/ Electronics and Communication /Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics or any comparable field of study

• 3 to 4 years of experience in System Engineering or System Architecture

• Knowledge/Experience in Requirement Engineering ( IMS tool) is added advantage.

• Knowledge on System and Software development processes

• Technical problem analysis capability

• Change management

• Working experience in Multinational organization With System Engineering activities and product lifecycle of Automotive components could be of use

• Independent and Goal-oriented working method, ability to proritize and structuring

• Good English Skills in writen and spoken

• Intercultural competence
