Cisco Cloud Security is a leading provider of network security services, enabling the world to connect to the Internet and private applications with confidence on any device, anywhere, anytime. The Secure Access team is building the next generation of ZTNA, firewall, proxy, and inspection services as highly available distributed systems using cloud engineering practices.

We are looking for talented engineers to help us launch the next generation of cloud-delivered access and security services and deliver a stronger offering with unprecedented customer experience. Our engineering team is composed of highly skilled individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment. Members are involved with all stages of the product development process, from solving complex engineering problems to working directly with customers.

About Us

We are building the future of cloud-delivered networking and security - Cisco Secure Access. Our team is responsible for the development and operations of Cisco Secure Access’s ZTNA cloud solutions.

About You

• You are excited about developing cloud-native solutions to network and security problems.

• You have strong programming skills and are passionate about both building and running applications.

• You are a natural problem-solver and trouble-shooter

• You have the ability to think creatively and are self-motivated

• You love working together as a team and have a desire to speak up and share ideas

Required Skills: 

• · Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.

• · 8+ years of expereince with Go/C/Python

• · Linux internals and the open-source stack

• · Basics of Computer Networking - L3/L4/L7, TCP, UDP, IP, HTTP, DNS.

• · Experience working with Public Cloud service AWS/Azure/GCP

• · Monitoring and observability tools and techniques

• · Good to have.

• · Continuous integration and continuous deployment Working with Web proxies

• · Cloud-native architectures, microservices and cloud applications

• · DevOps, SRE, and Agile practices; iterative development
