Your role and responsibilities

As a software developer, you will work with clients and others in a multidisciplinary team to define requirements and develop solutions. You will design, code, and test solutions for IBM Z platform, that use programming languages including Java, C/C++, Assembler, PL1.You would also be involved in process automation and code deployments using top of stack scripting languages and tools.

Required technical and professional expertise

• 5+ years relevant experience on IBM Z ( app deployment, automation and processes or application infrastructure administration)

• 5+ years of experience on IBM Z middleware components such as Db2 z/OS, CICS, MQ or IMS

• Experience in optimizing deployment and release processes (Endevor, Changeman, ISPW)

• 2+ years of experience with traditional mainframe library management systems (Endevor, Changeman, ISPW)

• 2+ years of experience with at least one scripting language - JCL, REXX

• Proficient in analytical thinking, debugging, and solving complex problems.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Working with change management solutions such as Service Now

• 2+ years’ experience building enterprise software applications.

• Familiar with DevOps tooling like pipelines, binary artifact repositories.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
