Fortive Corporation Senior Technical Support Analyst in Bengaluru South, India

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting Absorb’s learning management system (LMS) software.

  • Assist with troubleshooting, answer inquiries, and resolve technical issues related to the LMS tool.

  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the LMS.

  • Create and maintain courses, learning paths, and content libraries.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks.

  • Generate reports and analytics to track learner progress, course completion rates, and other metrics.

  • Serve as a key liaison with third parties and business stakeholders, to implement and support integrations with other platforms.

  • Test and evaluate new features, updates, and enhancements to the FirstUp web tool to ensure functionality and usability.

  • Create and edit content (e.g., posts, articles, announcements).

  • Access and create analytics related to individual campaigns.

  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization by implementing effective solutions and driving continuous improvement.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.

  • Conduct research on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to address business needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Evaluate and recommend system upgrades, software installations, and technology enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to implement and support technology solutions, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.

  • Stay updated with industry standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to security protocols.

  • Responsible for working with platform support on critical service requests and product enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 6 or more years of technology or industry experience required.

  • Demonstrated experience working with learning tools (LMS).

  • Knowledge of working with an intelligent communication platform to enhance workforce engagement and streamline internal communications.

  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a solid knowledge of IT systems and processes.

  • Strong technical skills to supporting multiple applications.

  • Strong collaboration skills while working with SME's, and business users/ stakeholders to drive business user requirements.

  • Strong negotiation skills when working with business users to develop requirements and defend systems capabilities.

  • Ability to learn new platforms and technologies aligned with organizational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Absorb LMS software a plus.

  • Knowledge of FirstUp web tool a plus

  • Knowledge of automation concepts.
