Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to build features which influence growth of Teams.

• Mentor and grow the engineers in your team.

• Design, implement and operate end-to-end product experiences. We expect you to lead the technical architecture, design & code reviews, and delivery of projects, interfacing with product management, design and other dependencies.

• Collaborate with product managers to layout and manage the feature execution and rollout plan.

• Make technology and design decisions to deliver performant experiences.

• Collaborate with your engineering peers to reuse code/stack components where applicable and feasible.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

• OR equivalent experience.

• Good problem-solving skills, design skills and ability to think strategically.

• Track record of delivering innovation and results, leadership and collaboration.

• Creates an inclusive and fun work environment where every employee engages effectively.

• Experience in building services powering real time use case for million of users.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to learn and grasps concepts quickly in a fast paced environment.

• Ability to work on cross team/org projects and prior experience with DevOps environments.

• Extensive knowledge of database/storage design and programming.

• Experience with Azure, Exchange, Office 365 services fabric or other large scale services is a big plus.

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

You will be part of a very strong and fun team, building very large scale data infrastructure, staying touch on the state-of-the-art big data technologies in both open source and Microsoft own stack, developing advanced and practical data pipelining, mining, machine learning, statistics, and measurement techniques for solving the hottest and most challenging problems in the world and generating real impact.
