Job & Division Summary:

Electrical and Instrumentation support for Bioprocessing systems of Ingersoll Rand.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical and Instrumentation engineering for market leading Bioprocessing systems for biopharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical, medical devices and aerospace markets.

  • Work with project partners located in North America and UK/Europe to understand project requirements and execute with highest standards, On time Delivery and First Pass yield.

  • Develop project tracking mechanisms and create project plans for each project in alignment with master schedule developed by project partners.

  • Coordinate with PLC and mechanical engineers in IRETC (Engineering and Technology Center) for successful development of products.

Mandatory Skills

  • Expertise in engineering, selection, design and testing of Electrical power panels and controls panels with PLC as per customer specifications. 4+ Years of had on experience required.

  • Expertise in E-Plan, AutoCAD, ProPanel or equivalent tools. 3+ Years of hands on experience required.

  • 3+ Years of experience in developing P&ID, technical documentation, instrumentation list and data sheets, wiring schematics with BOM for instrumentation systems.

  • Experience in developing Logic diagrams starting from Cause & Effect Matrix and Control Narrative.

Desired skills:

  • Experience of developing PLC programs, specifically Siemens PLCs.

  • Experience of directly working with US or European engineering teams.

  • Experience in design of Electrical schematic, wiring diagram preparation, instrument and JBs Layout Drawing including cable trays.

  • Experience in custom order / Engineer to order projects from Pharma/ Bio Pharma/heavy machinery industry.

  • Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control valves, selection of LV, MV, HV motors.

  • Experience of designing instrumentation and electrical systems of large equipment used in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, beverage or similar process industry.

Basic Qualifications

Experience:-

  • Masters / bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation engineering or a related field.

  • Overall experience of 4-6 years in relevant field.

  • Excellent communication skills
