Verification & Validation (RT) Lead Engineer
Roles:
Responsible for HVDC Software & Hardware Integrated testing and perform FPT (Functional Performance Test) & DPT (Dynamic Performance Test)
Should be able read, understand and follow given test definitions & test descriptions.
Execute test cases related to Grid/Station/Pole level control functions as per test descriptions for HVDC converter substation.
Should be able understand the HMI, RTDS, basics of Power system, Power Electronics component, and its equipment’s.
Evaluate Test results against Test Acceptance Criteria
Analyse SER (Signal Event recorder) and TFR (Transient fault record) Records
Analyse test results screenshots, plots, reports, and support documents
Prepare and submit Test reports in required format.
Understand and follow given test definitions & test descriptions.
Qualification, Skills & Experience:
B.E or BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 7+ years of experience in Design, Testing and Commissioning HVDC Transmission substation,
ME or MTech in Powers system or Power electronics followed with B.E or BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
Good knowledge in Power system protection, Electrical equipment hardware and software engineering and testing.
Experience in MATLAB Simulink
Good knowledge and exposure in
HVDC control and protection systems.
FACTS commissioning.
GITLAB (Version control & Issue tracking)
IFM (Integrated framework management)
MTM (Master Test Metrics)
RTDS (Real time Simulator)
Knowledge in requirements Management Polarian knowledge - Development (scripting) & Application
Basic understanding in SIPROTEC product family, HMI tools, RTDS, IEC 61850 would be an added advantage.
Should be able to interact with multiple internal, external stake holders and show FAT demo to customers.
Good communications skill and fluent in English.
