Roles & Responsibilities:
· Provide technical and thought leadership to the team and support the needs of the team.
· Formulate designs from the requirements and drive the design reviews
· Work with a team of like-minded professionals to create detailed execution plans, monitor the progress, maintain the sanity of the engineering process, and drive the team to achieve planned end goals.
· Identify and mitigate potential risks.
· Influence other teams and broader Engineering groups in adopting best practices.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Very good experience in Embedded C and C++ Knowledge on communication protocols - I2C, UART, USB, SPI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP
Proficiency in working with RTOS (Cesium) and Linux (Yocto),
UI design experience using QT/QML
Good understanding of OOPS concepts and design patterns.
Good understanding of stacks, memory mngt, heaps, multithreading, memory profiling tools like Coverity, Valgrind
Good Experience in debugging techniques.
Experience on Gerrit/Git/Jenkins/Bitbucket and CI build process
Well versed with agile process and practices.
Good experience on Embedded SW Design, development, test & integration, debugging techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Would be a plus:
Exposure to Medical Standards & Protocols: EMR, HL7, FHIR, MLLP, IoT device-cloud connectivity protocols such as MQTT, COAP, WebSockets
Ability to organize and present technical status to Technical Leader.
Experience in Healthcare domain is a plus
Knowledge on system FMEA, tools like DOORS
Knowledge on Cryptography and Network Security Principles.
