Salary: $23 - $24 per hour
Work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
Education: High School
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.
Communicate surgery schedules to patients, providing preoperative instructions and answering any questions.
Ensure all necessary documentation, including patient records and insurance information, is accurate and complete.
Maintain and update the surgical schedule, making adjustments as needed and notifying relevant parties.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office setting, preferably with surgical scheduling.
Knowledge of general medical office procedures and basic medical terminology.
