Salary: $23 - $24 per hour

Work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Education: High School

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.

  • Communicate surgery schedules to patients, providing preoperative instructions and answering any questions.

  • Ensure all necessary documentation, including patient records and insurance information, is accurate and complete.

  • Maintain and update the surgical schedule, making adjustments as needed and notifying relevant parties.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office setting, preferably with surgical scheduling.

  • Knowledge of general medical office procedures and basic medical terminology.
