There should be a strong commitment to equity and inclusion. *Primary Duties: * Administers, implements, communicates, and coordinates wellness programs and campaigns, employee assistance programs (EAP), and other related programs that enhance health and wellness. * Collaborates with external partners (i.e., benefits carriers, EAP), to develop and coordinate the delivery of wellness programs. * Coordinates classes, workshops, and challenges to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles. * Facilitates the organization wide delivery of content and resources that encourages healthy diets, nutrition, lifestyle choices, and preventative care. * Monitors, reviews, and evaluates ongoing wellness programs, assessing needs, and facilitating improvements. * Conducts regular assessments to identify employee needs and preferences, adjusting wellness initiatives accordingly. * Prepares regular reports on program engagement, event/campaign participation, participant satisfaction, and program outcomes. * Creates and monitors annual budget associated with wellness, EAP, or other such programs. * Develops and maintains wellness website content, informational bulletins, and confidential correspondence related to human resources. * Collaborates with internal customers and stakeholders to integrate wellness initiatives into the overall employee experience and ensure alignment with human resources and organizational goals. * Acts as a liaison with administrative departments and schools, providing guidance and advice on wellness initiatives; and serving as a resource on wellness related issues, trends, and state regulations. * Responds to inquiries about wellness, EAP, and related programs. * Determines delivery of initiatives and programs, including the use of third parties. Assist in third party vendor selection. * Performs other duties as assigned. Education:Bachelor’s degree in related field. Experience:Four (4) years of experience in human resources with a focus on coordinating and/or managing wellness initiatives/programs. Supervisory Experience:N/A Certification/Licensure:N/A Other: Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 undergraduate college credits being equivalent to one year of related experience. In instances where specific education and/or experience is required only directly related education and/or experience may be substituted.
