Johns Hopkins University Research Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland

We are seeking a Research Assistant for a casual position with the Center for Clinical Trials and Evidence Synthesis in the Department of Epidemiology.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits at all participating clinical trial sites as needed for the purpose of study start-up, monitoring, and closeout.

  • Prepare reports on study site visits for review by Steering Committee.

  • Perform remote auditing and querying of data collected at each participating site.

  • Assist clinic coordinators with data entry troubleshooting.

  • Perform participant randomizations at Johns Hopkins Clinical site.

  • Tweak electronic data entry forms in the event of study protocol modifications throughout study.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.

  • Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in related discipline.

  • One year of research experience.

  • Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Classified Title: Research Assistant

Role/Level/Range: ACRO40/E/03/CD

Starting Salary Range: $17.00 - $30.00 HRLY (Commensurate with experience)

Employee group: Casual / On Call

Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9 am – 5 pm

Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
