Actalent Fire Protection Engineer in Baltimore, Maryland

Job Title: Fire Protection EngineerJob Description

We are currently seeking a Fire Protection Engineer who is either in possession of an EIT certificate or is eligible to obtain one. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field. Responsibilities include handling projects of varying sizes, from large traditional consulting projects to smaller, quick turnaround consulting engagements. The role requires someone who can manage projects independently from inception to completion, including developing field proposals based on client scopes and maintaining client communication.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD

  • Revit (preferred)

  • 5+ years of engineering experience

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Team collaboration

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Baltimore, Maryland.

Work Environment

Office-based role requiring a 5-day work week with 8-hour days, starting between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, based on the employee's preference.
