Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Bakersfield, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the agriculture industry, located in Bakersfield, California, 93308, United States. The role is for an Accounts Receivable Clerk whose primary responsibilities will involve heavy reconciliation and a detail-oriented approach to managing customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proficient handling of customer accounts and invoices, with a focus on detail and efficiency

• Maintain agility in invoicing processes, adjusting to customer requirements as needed

• Manage high volumes of customer invoices, working as part of a team to keep processes as current as possible

• Engage in diligent account reconciliation activities, utilizing skills in Account Reconciliation, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks

• Perform tasks related to Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Collections, and Commercial Collections

• Utilize Oracle, SAP, and Accounts Receivables Systems for various tasks

• Participate in daily reconciliation activities

• Ensure accurate and efficient reconciliation of customer accounts on a weekly basis, managing multiple invoices from various crews, cost centers, jobs, and rates

• Address any customer inquiries related to credit accounts and resolve any issues that arise. Requirements • Possession of proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Demonstrable skills in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Billing

• Knowledge in Cash Collections

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in using Oracle

• Ability to use QuickBooks

• Knowledge in SAP

• Proficient in using accounts receivables systems

• Experience in Daily Reconciliation

• Background in the Agriculture industry

• Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented and highly organized

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Good understanding of business and income tax worksheets

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Strong customer service orientation

• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
