YOUR FUTURE TEAM As part of TCEQ Administrative Services, you would help support the logistical and operational structure for TCEQ statewide -- the business foundation for the whole agency. See details about what we do. This position is a member of our Human Resources and Staff Services Division. KEY QUALIFICATIONS Experience developing webpages in SharePoint using industry best practices. Experience using webpage development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Experience creating documents and webpages that meet agency and/or industry accessibility standards. Experience applying user interface and design (UX/UI) concepts to web development projects. Experience managing web-based projects involving Microsoft Office 365 application integration. Qualifications: HERES WHAT YOULL BE DOING... Perform a variety of technical and professional services relating to web development and maintenance for the Human Resources and Staff Services Division. Perform web design and development work within the Division in coordination with the Lead Internet Developer. Participate in web design, development, deployment, maintenance, and other web and IT activities. Ensure material posted on agency websites conforms to agency standards, including accessibility standards. Assist subject matter experts on various web projects and implement updates or changes to websites. Track and analyze (division) web page usage. Assist in answering questions about the agencys web Content Management System (CMS) and help train new CMS Web Developers. Develop web design and administration procedures, standards, tools, and techniques. Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Division SharePoint assets; creation of customized web tools and designs utilizing approved web technologies. Participate in developing and presenting HR data and reports in an intuitive easy to understand format such as interactive, dynamic dashboards on the web. Assist in the development and quality control of HR data and reports. EDUCATION EXPERIENCE Webmaster Certification, plus one (1) year of full-time experience in web design, web development, or web programming/coding. OR Three (3) years of full-time experience in web design, web development, or web programming/coding. OR A bachelor's degree with 12 semester hours in computer science, web design, web development, or web programming/coding from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of full-time experience in web design, web development, or web programming/coding. OR Completion of 30 semester hours (600 clock hours) in computer science, web design, web development, or web programming/coding from a licensed vocational, technical, business, or accredited college, plus two (2) years of full-time experience in web design, web development, or web programming/coding. *Transcripts/ College Hours or Course Work: See instructionson how to attach documents.
