We are looking for a multifaceted and highly motivated SAP Application Engineer who can design, architect and develop highly sophisticated, secure, reliable and scalable solutions catering to Apple business units.

Description

As a senior SAP Application Engineer, you will be responsible to oversee multiple work streams and deliver projects within a dynamic environment with talented team members. You will also have the below responsibilities : Institutionalize best practices for application development to ensure consistent delivery of quality architecture, solutions with high performance and scalability Keep up-to date on the newest technology solutions in market to generate innovative ideas to tackle business challenges Take technical ownership of multiple system platforms, setting technology roadmap with measurable objectives, supervising and reporting on results Partner with SAP cross-technical and functional teams to ensure their expectations are met and handled Work with software vendors and SAP on co-innovation ideas

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15 plus years of SAP development experience in SAP ABAP RICEFW objects, OData/SOAP web services, HANA stored procedures, AMDP, Restful ABAP programming, Fiori, UI5, side-by-side extensibility and other SAP modern technologies

  • 10 plus years of experience working in the role of a technical architect recommending optimal, secure and highly scalable solutions in SAP S/4 HANA on-premise and SAP BTP systems

  • 10 years work experience and understanding of SAP S/4 HANA frameworks, tools, data models and SAP BTP services spanning across different SAP modules mainly SD and FICO

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to breakdown sophisticated business requirements into SAP solutions applying the latest SAP technologies with detailed FIT/GAP analysis

  • Experienced in designing and proposing scalable and robust SAP architecture options that align with business requirements and industry standards

  • Hands-on development experience of Proof-of-Concepts to help in informed decision-making of optimal SAP system designs and architecture

  • Experienced in integrating SAP systems with third-party systems, applications and external data sources using different middleware technologies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent is preferred.

  • Curious mind with a penchant to research for new and upcoming SAP and third-party tools and technologies to streamline internal processes and use in SAP projects

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to present SAP solution architectures, designs and technical read-outs to peers and leadership teams

  • Understanding of SAP backend integration with SAP BTP using Cloud Connector and/or SAP CPI, API Management, Advanced Event Mesh is a plus
