UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Research Associate in Austin, Texas
Design and perform independent research that utilizes and characterizes Culture Collection of Algae (UTEX) holdings. Participate in ongoing internal research projects and coordinate with UTEX staff to develop laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures. Meet with the Curator regularly to discuss external funding, research coordination with external organizations, composition and publication of manuscripts, and problem solving with respect to research projects.
