UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN PACS Informatics Analyst- Intermediate in Austin, Texas
Create and merge outside exams for consult studies requested by other physicians. Support clinical staff with connecting to other facilities to electronic send/receive DICOM images. Troubleshoot issues preventing storage for image upload on PACS. Conduct routine hardware and software audits of systems to ensure compliance with established policies, and configuration guidelines. Work with other DMS IT Stakeholders and external vendors to troubleshoot current systems and with the evaluation of new systems, as well as upgrades to existing systems. Interface with vendors for procurement and maintenance of all PACS infrastructures.Install and setup workstation hardware supplied by the organization, including physicians PCs. Notify, plan, and coordinate installation with Vendors to add modality connections, including interfaces to new modalities. Notify and coordinate with Vendors when moves/changes to modalities DICOM storage locations are required.Conduct security and compliance evaluations and checks to ensure systems are optimally configured to meet requirements as it relates to the maintenance and integrity of PACS Services.Other related duties as assigned.
