Develop and implement standards, expectations, and goals of the department and/or college and serve as liaison to the Graduate School, College of College of Education, and other university offices.Advise and/or mentor students and faculty members in recruitment, admission, academics, progress towards degree, completion rates, professional development, employment, and administrative functions, provides training sessions and presentations to graduate students as well as offer counseling on topics such as financial aid, employment, housing, transportation, insurance, etc.Organize and oversee recruiting new students, graduate admissions, and fellowship nominations and awards.Assist with the hiring of Teaching Assistants, Assistant Instructors, Graduate Research Assistants, and similar instructional positions; act as HR representative for graduate student employees.Manage graduate program budgets and expenditures like process scholarships, fellowships, and tuition payments.-Maintain student records; collect and organize data to assess and evaluate graduate program effectiveness, student retention, grade point averages, and academic outcomes.-Assist Graduate Advisor and Graduate Program Committee.
