Microsoft Corporation has the following opportunity:

Manipulate large volumes of data, create new and improved techniques and/or solutions for datacollection, management, and usage. Research and develop an understanding of tools, technologies, andmethods that can be utilized to improve state-of-the-art technologies. May leverage Machine Learning(ML) or statistical modeling techniques to develop solutions to problems in the field of computer hardwareor software and drive innovation. Develop, evaluate, and deploy software, algorithms, systems, or otherdata to improve products, system performance, quality, data management, and accuracy. Collaboratewith cross-functional teams to promote digital transformation, which may include Artificial Intelligence orAutomation, and develop applications and underlying support systems that allow users to do specifictasks. Develop and review designs and business requirements to analyze and streamline data.Telecommuting permitted less than 50%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoftoffice location.

Requirements: Education: Master's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science; Information Technology; SoftwareEngineering; Computer Systems; Mathematics; Data Science; Business Intelligence; or relatedtech or quantitative field. Experience: 24 months of data analysis and/or data management experience. Education or Experience in: Machine Learning; Python; Statistical Inference; Algorithms; and Bigdata modeling and analysis.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position(V13659892.b), in Austin, TX, is $133,200 to $163,200 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allowsus to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base paydepends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility ofrole, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed andtypically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, andstock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of theplan and the employees role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment withMicrosoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, andvision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basiclife insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
