Position Summary This role involves planning, organizing, coordinating, and preparing contract documents; and overseeing the maintenance of detailed records of all contract related activities. This position will also help manage Information Technology products and services contracts; complies with current contract management policies and regulations and ensures state contracting procedures are followed. Performs complex (journey-level) clerical work. Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to highlight their strengths in the following functions: Assists in development of cooperative amendments, which may include but is not limited to: cost avoidance, contract terms compliance monitoring, insurance documentation, customer engagement events, internal stakeholder meetings. Assists contract managers in the development, distribution and analysis of amendments. Assist in the admin review of vendor contract requests for completeness and compliance prior to advancing to the next stage. Assists contract managers in monitoring any contract-related email box. Assists contract managers in creating necessary contract files. Assists contract managers with price benchmarking. Prepares formal written correspondence to customers and vendors. Performs related work as assigned. Qualifications: Education A recent graduate, or a student currently enrolled in a college or university with a major or course work in business, public administration, procurement, contracting, accounting, management, or a related field. Must possess academic performance that is considered in good academic standing by college/university standards.
