Job Description:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and collections. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Invoicing and Billing: Generate and process invoices accurately and promptly.

• Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor customer accounts for timely payments, follow up on overdue invoices, and resolve payment discrepancies.

• Customer Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers regarding their accounts, resolve billing issues, and provide outstanding customer service.

• Cash Application: Apply payments to customer accounts accurately and reconcile discrepancies.

• Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly AR aging reports and other financial reports as needed.

  Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 years of corporate Accounts Receivable experience: Proven track record in a similar role, with expertise in invoicing, billing, and collections.

• Restaurant Industry Experience: Understanding of the restaurant business environment, including invoicing processes specific to the industry.

• NetSuite Experience: Proficiency in using NetSuite or a similar ERP system for managing accounts receivable functions.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of transactions.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve billing discrepancies and customer issues promptly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Certification (e.g., Certified Accounts Receivable Manager) is a plus.

• Experience with CRM software for customer communication and management.
