What You Will Be Doing:
The Heavy Rents Service Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the heavy rents fleet is well maintained, efficiently turned after each rental, and available for rental at optimum levels while controlling costs through the process.
Primary Responsibilities:
Reviews all rental returns, schedules and approves all required maintenance and repairs
Ensures that warranty is current on all heavy rents machines
Implementing and maintaining a hammer process at all locations
Maintaining damage quotes and ensuring proper documentation available to all coordinators, salesmen and customers
Reviewing and maintaining CTS (Undercarriage) reports and repairs
Reviews all invoicing to heavy rents machines for accuracy and compliance to PO
Coordinates and approves all field service calls; updates log as necessary
Process rental roll out machines through the shops as needed
Works with Rental Coordinators and Service personnel to ensure that all re-rented assets are properly maintained
Ensures that all new assets (including used purchases) being added to the heavy rents fleet are properly inspected and made rent ready
Additional Responsibilities:
Adherence to all Yancey Bros. Co. Safety procedures and standards
Drives continuous process improvement
Evaluates equipment on the rent ready line
Handles customer complaints regarding equipment condition or operation
Performs other duties as assigned by the Heavy Rents Manager
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have a mechanical aptitude, organized and prior diesel technician experience. You should have basic computer skills, be able to multitask, problem solve and provide superior customer service to be successful in this position as well.
Education/Experience:
High school or equivalent
Required Qualifications/Skills:
3 to 5 years of experience as a diesel technician
Strong mechanical background, especially with diesel powered equipment
Knowledge of DBS and the work order system
Ability to manage through change
Computer skills to include Internet Explorer, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the telephone
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred
Knowledge of Spanish language
