Position Summary
Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL is currently seeking a full-time medical dosimetrist. The medical center has state-of-the-art technology. The radiation department is ACR, CoC and NAPBC accredited and committed to the highest standards of patient care. Rush Copley currently has 3 medical physicists and 1 dosimetrist. Candidate should have a broad range of clinical experience in all aspects of Radiation Oncology. Hybrid available once trained.
Position Requirements
Must be Board eligible or Board certified in Medical Dosimetry.
Actively involved in dosimetry planning, which includes IMRT, RapidArc, SRS, SBRT, HyperArc and 3D planning
Clinical support of brachytherapy procedures which includes simulations and treatment planning
Willing to help physics with patient QA and machine QA
Actively involved in HDR Brachytherapy planning
Assist in treatment planning QA
Participate in chart rounds
Assist in updating and creating new policy and procedures for the department
Involved in ACR re-accreditation process
Consult with other physics, physician, dosimetry, and therapist staff in the implementation of new treatment protocols
