Position Summary

Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL is currently seeking a full-time medical dosimetrist. The medical center has state-of-the-art technology. The radiation department is ACR, CoC and NAPBC accredited and committed to the highest standards of patient care. Rush Copley currently has 3 medical physicists and 1 dosimetrist. Candidate should have a broad range of clinical experience in all aspects of Radiation Oncology. Hybrid available once trained.

Position Requirements

  • Must be Board eligible or Board certified in Medical Dosimetry.

  • Actively involved in dosimetry planning, which includes IMRT, RapidArc, SRS, SBRT, HyperArc and 3D planning

  • Clinical support of brachytherapy procedures which includes simulations and treatment planning

  • Willing to help physics with patient QA and machine QA

  • Actively involved in HDR Brachytherapy planning

  • Assist in treatment planning QA

  • Participate in chart rounds

  • Assist in updating and creating new policy and procedures for the department

  • Involved in ACR re-accreditation process

  • Consult with other physics, physician, dosimetry, and therapist staff in the implementation of new treatment protocols

  • Eclipse and Brachyvision for Treatment Planning

  • IPLAN/Elements for Radiosurgery

  • Radformation Clear Check and EZ Fluence Software

  • MU Check Calculation Software

  • Sun Nuclear QA Equipment

  • Standard Imaging Pipspro Software and SunCheck for TG142
