Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Aurora, Colorado, for a Regional Director of Operations. The selected candidate will be involved in overseeing the operations, strategy, and performance of multiple storage unit facilities, ensuring optimal service delivery and compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of multiple storage unit facilities within the designated region.

• Monitoring and evaluating operational performance metrics, such as occupancy rates and cost controls.

• Implementing company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.

• Leading strategic growth initiatives to expand the customer base and increase occupancy rates.

• Collaborating with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns for regional customer acquisition.

• Identifying new opportunities to enhance services and profitability.

• Leading and developing facility managers and staff to ensure operational excellence.

• Conducting regular performance reviews and creating personalized development plans for team members.

• Creating a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, accountability, and employee satisfaction.

• Formulating and executing a regional operational strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term goals.

• Providing regional market insights and customer trends to senior leadership to inform decision-making.

• Overseeing annual budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss for all facilities in the region.

• Monitoring and continuously improving customer satisfaction across all facilities.

• Resolving escalated customer concerns or issues and implementing preventative measures for long-term success. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role or related field

• Proficiency in CRM software and its application in operations management

• Extensive knowledge and experience in budget processes

• Mastery of buying processes, with an emphasis on strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management

• Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven track record in customer satisfaction and retention

• Ability to travel as needed to oversee regional operations

• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing diverse teams

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred

• Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data and implement improvement strategies

• Proven ability to develop and execute operational strategies in alignment with company objectives

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
