Job Title: Clinical & Fiscal Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and enhance tracking systems, managing projected and actual FTE and Day Shift Equivalent (DSE) allocations, and tracking for physicians and advance practice providers. Ensure differential and extra shift payments are recorded.

  • Generate cFTE calculations for the Division.

  • Review divisional funding distributions for faculty and staff.

  • Facilitate clinical planning, FTE and DSE tracking, program logistics, faculty highlights, and meetings led by the DCOs, ADCOs and Division Administrator related to clinical operations.

  • Analyze, review, and submit charge corrections for the Division.

  • Ensure proper funding distributions for clinical staffing and support inter-University invoicing for fee-for-service operations, submitting journal entries where needed.

  • Supports monthly funding reconciliations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, health care administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.

  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis, but not for the specific experience.

  • One (1) year of professional experience in business or financial operations.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a higher education and/or healthcare environment.

  • Experience coordinating contracts and invoicing based on contract deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

  • Ability to work as a team and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.

  • Outstanding customer service skills with a strong sense of proprietorship.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand new IT systems.

  • Ability to create custom, user-friendly reports in Excel.

  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

  • Ability to be flexible; work with shifting priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Ability to manage and drive multiple tasks and projects to success while leveraging industry best-practices tools, techniques, and methodologies.

  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new, University systems independently.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $54,383 – $69,175. The above salary range () represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
