Navient Head of Partnerships - Remote, US in Augusta, Maine

The Head of Partnerships position will report to our Senior Director, Growth Marketing.

As the Head of Partnerships, you will:

  • Be responsible for the strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of our partnership and affiliate marketing programs and team

  • Be responsible for acquiring new affiliate marketing partnerships, onboarding, and activating partners, and improving and expanding upon existing successful programs

  • Be expected to have a deep understanding of the affiliate partner landscape, especially within the financial industry, to anticipate major changes and keep Earnest ahead of the curve

  • Need to have advanced analytical abilities and executive presentation skills. You will work closely with our marketing team to create and implement campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth

Your Impact:

  • Lead Earnest’s strategy, measurement, and data-driven optimization efforts across all partnership marketing relationships for all our lines of business and help to define Earnest’s future marketing investment as a leader within the marketing team and broader organization.

  • Build and deliver bottom-up growth and budget forecasts, partnering with the Sr. Director of Growth Marketing, Product Leads and the Finance team to refine scenarios based on company revenue targets

  • Collaborate with other channel owners in the Growth Marketing team to synchronize monthly planning across channels and products, communicate wins, and accomplish overall acquisition targets

  • Work with the Pricing, Product Marketing, and Legal teams to ensure Earnest is being accurately represented across our partner sites and marketing campaigns as changes happen

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of partnerships professionals, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives and equipped with the necessary resources to succeed

About You:

  • 8+ years experience in affiliate and partnership marketing planning, execution, and measurement

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a marketing or growth role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Engineering or other related field

  • Experience expanding and managing an extensive portfolio of affiliate partners toward conversion and efficiency goals

  • Understanding of attribution models, marketing funnel measurement, and the fundamentals of good experiment design

  • Experience hiring, engaging, and retaining marketing talent

A little about our pay philosophy: We take pride in compensating our employees fairly and equitably. We are showcasing a range of your potential base salary, determined primarily based on a candidate’s location. Earnest takes a market-based approach, categorizing U.S. locations into one of five zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will also be determined based on job-related qualifications, internal compensation, and budget. This range may be modified in the future.

Pay Range

$140,000—$175,000 USD
