Sr. Business Analyst and Scrum Master is needed for a contract opportunity with our Energy Industry client located in Pennsylvania.

Duration: 24 months initial contract Start date: April 2025 subject to change Location: Hybrid in Audubon PA Hourly pay rate: : $54.61-$66.37
Customer Satisfaction
Develop a deep understanding of the business functions and processes Document, review and update business process requirements based on client's feedback Ensure appropriate levels of controls are applied to work efforts, including security requirements, effective business solutions Serve as a business liaison between client and project teams Establish, monitor and maintain high client satisfaction levels Document and track problems in client business systems or processes to provide recommendations for future efficiencies Responsibilities Analyze, review, and document current structure and use cases of the application or process; Analyze and document current application dependencies Serve as a business liaison between clients and project teams to help understand user interaction Track required tasks through completion Ability to develop/update existing materials and support the team in understanding of requirements or training materials as needed Works closely with Project Manager from an external vendor (where required) to ensure project success Prepare status reports for management using Microsoft Office suite of products Keep close contact with key customer representatives to ensure solutions are meeting their expectations and providing them with valuable information-sharing capabilities. Develop process flows as needed Organize Sprint Planning meetings, which includes reviewing the Product Backlog and collaborating with the Product Owner and the Core Team to identify user stories to be included in the next Sprint Conduct Sprint Review Meetings to review the scope and functionality delivered successfully in the previous Sprint Organize Sprint Retrospectives with the Scrum Team to improve process & techniques continuously Ensure the team abides by the SCRUM rules and guidelines Hold Daily SCRUM meetings to allow the Scrum Team to synchronize their work and communicate issues and road-blocks to the Product Owner Empower the Scrum Team, and shield the Scrum Team from outside influences and distractions Assist the Product Owner in maintaining the Product Backlog Work effectively as part of the Scrum Team to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines Establishing a sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely, cost-effective manner with top quality
Skills and Experience Someone who is energetic and passionate about business analysis work, extremely positive and solution driven Detail oriented Ability to lead assigned tasks to completion Excellent requirements gathering skills and experience Listening to customers and understands their current processes and needs; Experience in process design and/or documentation; Experience using Visio or equivalent process mapping solutions Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision; Can manage workload and priorities Experience in developing business analysis deliverables like requirements document, As-Is and To-Be process diagrams, use cases, traceability matrix, data dictionary, business rules, meeting notes, etc. Understands the importance of a good, well planned and executed roll-out of a product to internal or external clients, including support documentation and training, user training, and post roll-out issue management Excellent financial management skills Someone who has worked on cross-functional teams, on projects in a matrixed environment Experience working with business and technical staffs to define, document, and track software requirements and design; Can manage difficult stakeholders Most recent roles should show increasing responsibility as BA in agile and waterfall environment; Familiarity with Agile methodology Skilled at analyzing data and processes Skilled at documentation best practices such as using revision history/version control/requirement unique identifier Proven skill in managing risk with constrained projects (managing competing tension between budget, schedule, resources, and quality) Willing to learn new things and share knowledge to others; Proactive; Resourceful B.S. degree in computer science, management information systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience Experience working on a third party implementation
Preferred Skills and Experience
Familiarity with Agile methodology Experience is process design and/or documentation Experience using Visio or equivalent process mapping solutions Experience using JIRA and Confluence Good knowledge/proficiency in MS Project Professional or MS Project Server Certified SCRUM Master and/or PMP
Estimated Min Rate: $54.61 Estimated Max Rate: $66.37
