ManpowerGroup Quality Engineer in Auburn Hills, Michigan
Manpower Engineering is currently partnering with a global company in the automotive manufacturing industry that is hiring for a Quality Engineer to develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems and processes to guarantee that automotive components and systems are manufactured to the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations and customer requirements.
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000
What’s the Job?
Act as a point of contact for customers regarding quality-related inquiries and issues.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Support the development of product specifications, design and process FMEAs and DVAs
Support new product development and introduction by ensuring quality requirements are integrated into design and manufacturing processes.
Utilize Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) techniques to streamline product development.
What’s Needed?
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in engineering discipline.
3-7 years of experience in quality engineering within the automotive industry.
Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, TS 16949, or similar quality management systems.
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, 8D, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and FMEA processes.
Understanding of Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
