We, Springhill Suites Auburn, are looking for a dedicated and committed Chef. You will play a key role in assisting our team to exceed guest expectations and support property-wide initiatives.

What will you do?

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our menu and standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, as well as a strong attention to detail.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and standards set by the hotel.

Ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.

Follow all health and safety guidelines.

About you:

Proven experience as a Cook in a hotel or similar setting

Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Excellent time management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Available to work a flexible schedule covering afternoon and evening shifts

Education:

Must successfully complete training in food preparation, food service skills, and customer service procedures.

At least one year of experience with the hotel is preferred.

The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00.
