Amazon WW Partner Lead – Smart Factory, Industries & Partner Solutions COE in Atlanta, Georgia

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Automotive and Manufacturing (A&M) team is looking for an experienced partner leader with strong Industry 4.0 expertise to join our fast-paced team to work with our strategic partners to build AWS Smart Factory practice and drive joint GTM strategy, and help A&M customers solve their business problems. Addressing pilot purgatory with solutions that can scale with best practices repeatable in other industries.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities include managing strategic relationships with influential leaders including building relationships with C-level, marketing, field and channel leaders. The ideal candidate is a part of a digital transformation team that drives tactical and strategic initiatives across the manufacturing value chain. The candidate will possess both an A&M business development background with a strong sales acumen that enables them to engage at the CXO level, and easily interact with partners, enterprise customers, and sales/field representatives. The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and influence the roadmap of cross-industry partner solutions

You would join a team that is redefining smart manufacturing, bridging the OT/IT divide, and driving emerging technology adoption in smart operations with an emphasis on cross-industry impact. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world class candidates to develop relationships and manage the success of our partners within the Automotive and Manufacturing (A&M) vertical, accelerating Industry 4.0 adoption cross industries.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7 years of IT consulting/management, alliance, sales or business development experience in the A&M industry.

  • Experience in the A&M industry specifically in technology, consulting, or transformation.

  • Experience developing solutions and offerings to solve complex business/technology problems within A&M industry.

  • Experience interacting with cross-functional team members, sponsors, key stakeholders, executives, and other individuals or organizations involved with or affected by the program.

  • Ability to Identify, lead and contribute to the creation of best practices, packaged offerings/solutions white papers, workshops, etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, technical, business or marketing degrees preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills, across all levels of management. Experience in Industry 4.0 associated technologies inclusive of robotics, automation, IOT, and how AI and robotics augment sustainability impact.

  • Experience in Greenfield factory, lighthouse factory or factory of the future transformation within Manufacturing or Automotive.

  • Prior track record of influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with products or services that have demonstrated success at Enterprise customers.

  • Experience influencing organizational strategies and driving industry best practices by collaborating cross-functionally across the enterprise and with external industry organizations.

  • MBA preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
