This position is responsible for building strong business understanding and relationships to enable the delivery of technology solutions that deliver the intended business value in the spirit of the Agile Scrum Methodology. The Technical Product Engineer’s primary responsibilities are to process a solid technical understanding of the product which will allow prioritization of features according to business value along and the ability to write detailed user stories that are ready for development when added to the backlog. The Technical Product Engineer will also participate in Sprint ceremonies like Inception, Future State, Alignment, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, User Story Refinement. It is important that they also establish and maintain effective partnerships with the Business and IT product teams.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and organizational skills to transform data into insights, distill requirements, and develop processes. They will also be able to define clear, easy-to-digest metrics that resonate with the business. While a deep knowledge of Crew products and applications is not necessary, previous experience will be a plus. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, business maturity, and feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsiblefor conducting sophisticated and detailed research of existing processes,systems, and desired objectives to meet the goals/intent of the assignedproducts.

  • Workwith Product Manager, and SMEs to prioritize feature development, based onthe business value.

  • Elicitand create initial epics/features and elaborate into user scenarios thatclearly describe the functional and nonfunctional requirements.

  • Deliverbusiness requirements via artifacts such as epics, features, scenarios,acceptance criteria-based user stories, process flows, wireframe diagrams,interaction diagrams, mockups/demos, etc.

  • Collaboratewith a multi-functional team inside a Scrum framework.

  • Conductwork sessions and document new features, requirements, and strategies.

  • Oversightof testing, bug tracking, enhancements while ensuring issues are resolvedbefore promoting to production environments.

  • Ableto work on multiple initiatives and balance constantly evolvingpriorities.

  • Usedata and analysis to convey solution impact and to support process drivensolutions.

  • Developbusiness logic and critical metrics for incorporation into decisionsupport models and tools.

  • Constructproblem statement including problem description and improvement measures.

  • Drilldown beyond the problem surface to understand root cause.

  • Deliveringrecommendations and supporting data to formulate solid, logical, andunderstandable business reasons.

  • Supplyguidance to project planning and effort estimation within scope.

  • Supportthe identification of risks and mitigation approaches.

  • Abilityto collaborate with, as well as develop and maintain internal customerrelationships with business unit leaders.

  • This position is hybrid in Atlanta, Georgia.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • 3 - 5years of hands-on experience as a project manager, product owner orequivalent.

  • Knowledgeof concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to applyappropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development anddelivery.

  • Knowledgeof product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product,technology, or service from feasibility through to production.

  • Knowledgeof tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability toelicit, analyze and record required business functionality andnon-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system orsoftware development project.

  • Strongwritten, oral communication, and social skills

  • Musthave excellent planning and organizational skills, strong verbal, writtencommunication, and facilitation skills.

  • Mustbe performing satisfactorily in present position.

  • Consistentlyprioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • Embracesdiverse people, thinking, and styles.

  • Possessesa high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • Is atleast 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • SolidUnderstanding of Agile/SDLC development methodologies

  • DevOpsexperience including the use of use of Enterprise Agile planning solutionssuch as Agility.Al or similar.

  • Previousexperience as a product Subject Matter Expert including ownership for itsdevelopment and performance.

  • Flexibilityto adapt and plan for changing business objectives.

  • Airlinebusiness experience, as well as business process re-engineering and/orextensive experience working with agile teams, is desirable.
